OPERATION - ANNIHILATE!

THE PLOT:
The Enterprise follows a strange madness that results in death across the galaxy. Tracking it down it leads them to a settlement
on the planet Deneva. Where they discover strange giant one celled organisms that attach themselves to the host and start
using their bodies like a puppet. The commands must be obeyed or suffer horrible pain.
What's worse, his brother was one of the settlers, they find him dead. His nephew and Sister-In-Law infected by the one
cell menaces. It's a race against time which became more dire while leaving Spock also becomes infected by the creatures.
THE OPINION:
It's been a bad couple of episodes for James. First Edith Keeler and now his brother. But on the upside, the madness cells
as I call them are cool, even if this was basically the plot for "IT CONQUERED THE WORLD". But the Star Trek writers
made it cool.
