THE PLOT:
While exploring a planet where a ship vanished a hundred years prior, they discover a planet controled by the mysterious Landru.
Who has brainwashed everyone who is not of the body. Sulu is beamed up "absorbed" into the body which makes him
one of them.
To find a cure and the truth behind Landru, Kirk and the others beam down to the planet during a time of rape and riot
called Festival. Can Kirk discover who or what Landru truely is and the connection to the ancient ship or will he be absorbed
into the body?
THE OPINION:
This is a pretty compelling epsiode, never dull and raises some interesting questions about confomity. Which is relevent
today as it was way back when. Landru is cool in that evil twisted Televangelist kind of way. The Lawgivers are cool. Let's
face it, this is a cool episode that makes you think.
