THE PLOT:
As Spock's trail continues, more of the strange broadcast from Talos IV continues. The story of how the rescue of shipwrecked
humans was an elabrate illusion and it was a trap to capture Christopher Pike. The Taloians are creatures with incredible
mind powers and can project realistic and deadly illusions for their own amusment.
As young Spock prepares a rescue party Christopher meets the only real survivor of that crashed ship. But while Christopher
tries to find a way to escape his "cage". She is trying to seduce him as ordered by their captors.
THE OPINION:
As I said before, the only two parter in TREK:TOS history. I think this part was more interesting, with the Cage playing
on the viewscreen. I think it was a clever use of the unaired pilot and proves that Gene was a genius.
